Play Bionic Commando on Your PC!

MAME now has Bionic Commando!

I was informed recently (thanks Agent Byzantine) that MAME, the best arcade emulator in existence, now has support for the Bionic Commando arcade game! Before we had Slutte which was a great (if incomplete) emulator, but the author discontinued it. However, he did give his work to the MAME folks so we should all thank Steven Frew (the author of Slutte) for getting it all started. Anyway, I have posted the version of MAME that I use for you to download. It is a Pentium optimized emulator for DOS, and it seems to work great. You may download the emulator below.

NES Emulation

Many of you are probably thinking, sure this page is all well and good, but I can't play Bionic Commando because the NES is dead! In a sense, the NES is officially dead and has been for years, but there exists such a thing as a NES Emulator that allows you to play NES games on your PC! To get games for it, all you have to do is search the 'net for ROM images obtained from the actual cartridges. Nintendo disapproves of this, and it is illegal to keep ROMs for games that you don't own.

Anyhow, I figured that some of you may be interested in playing Bionic Commando but can't find a NES cartridge or system to play it on!

You can download the NESticle emulator below, but you'll have to find the ROMs on your own. Do so at your own risk.
